Visma and RIX Technologies sign a cooperation memorandum
With two of Latvia’s leading software developers – Visma and RIX Technologies – signing a memorandum of cooperation, the main beneficiaries will be Latvian municipalities and companies that use the popular computer systems Horizon and DMS Namejs. A deeper integration of the two programs will provide municipalities with a unified, more efficient document workflow and reduce the number of working hours spent on administrative process tracking.
The memorandum was signed on May 7 at the event “Efficient Municipal Work” held at the Zuzeum Art Center, in the presence of several dozen municipal executive directors. The signatories were Antra Zālīte, Head of Visma Enterprise, and Inguna Pede, Board Member of RIX Technologies. The deeper integration means automatic information exchange between the resource management system Horizon and the document management system Namejs, eliminating double data entry and reducing errors in the re-entry process.
“The positive impact of closer integration will be felt by both municipalities, as their costs will decrease, and employees responsible for data entry. Their time will be freed for meaningful work. Instead of performing routine tasks, staff will be able to focus on creativity, innovation, and adding value to their work. Automated data exchange also ensures higher work efficiency and faster access to information for operational decision-making,” listed Antra Zālīte, Head of Visma Enterprise.
The integrated solution will improve the circulation of personnel documents, contracts, invoices, and correspondence. Users will find it easier to create and register new contracts, leave applications, business trips, orders, agreements, and other documents. Employee personal data from Horizon will automatically be transferred to the Namejs system, enabling quick information updates, correct hierarchy representation, and absence notifications. Contracts will also be automatically transferred from one system to the other.
